Summer Night Loading…
Tucker and Co Bakery has planned for you THE quintessential summer night this Friday August 1st. Bring your lawn chair or blanket for an evening of live music in our cafe’s backyard with some special guests and goodies! Read on for all the details!
Find us in the backyard from 6-8 pm. Cafe doors will open at 5:30 pm for our special evening hours so you can grab a snack (or dinner or dessert) for your own picnic! Julia Denne, local Harrisburg musician, will be playing for us , bringing her singer-songwriter vibes. She recently released her first album “Long Story Short” with an indie/folk sound.Tanner Bingaman will also be performing, with his insane guitar/banjo skills. Soothing, eclectic, and uber-unique, his Appalachia-esque music is the perfect soundtrack for what may just become our favorite night of the summer.
Our friends from The Canine Rescue of Central PA will be bringing a pop-up tent with info about their adoptable dogs and how you can support or volunteer with them! Located in Dillsburg, this no-kill shelter believes in giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home… and chances are, if you are from Central PA, you’ve probably met one of their alumni pups without even realizing! We are excited to be partnering with them for an August drink special: The Dog Days of Summer: a peach and strawberry lemonade spritzer! We’ll be donating 20% of sales from this drink to the Canine Rescue for the month of August!
Heidi’s daughter Jane will also be popping up for the very first time with her new thrift boutique: The June Thrift: “a chic and cheap thrift boutique for tweens and teens.”
Last, but certainly not least, we’ll be having TWO sundae specials featuring Honey Bear’s locally churned vegan/gf ice cream! And just for us, Natalie also created a limited run refined-sugar-free peanut butter ripple flavor!
Sundae Details:
No Bad Days Sundae: house-baked oat choc chip bar, No Bad Days ice cream, topped with house caramel sauce
Standing on Monkey Business: Peanut Butter Ripple with fresh banana slices & chocolate syrup!
Both sundaes are gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free! But! still very decadent and satisfying!
