Small Town, Big Heart

Tucker&Co is located in Dillsburg, a place where small-town charm meets rich history. I have lived in Dillsburg (almost) my entire life and it is where I am raising my family and growing my business.

The town was named to honor Matthew Dill, an early settler in the 1700s. As you enter town, you can still see Dill's Tavern which was built by Dill's grandson John Dill in 1794. If history is your jam, you can visit the tavern because it now acts as a living history museum.

My favorite thing about living in downtown Dillsburg is the location. We are within walking distance of our kids' elementary school, our church, the post office, our jobs, and more! This type of environment fosters a community where you get to know your neighbors intentionally.

Dillsburg is also home to several traditions like the New Year's Eve Pickle Drop and Farmer's Fair. I particularly love the Farmer's Fair because main street gets shut down and there is a hubbub of excitement. Food vendors sell all kinds of treats - Bricker's French Fries are my favorite! In addition to the food, local artisans show off their creations in the exhibit hall. There is never a shortage of creativity! I also enjoy watching the parade as a family - my kids' eyes light up at the sight of the tractors!

Having the bakery café in Dillsburg is super important to me because I care about the Dillsburg community and want to enhance the town that has been influential in my life. I am proud to make my mark on the history of Dillsburg, a small town I love wholeheartedly.
