Café Love Languages

Whether you're single or taken this Valentine's Day, we want to make you feel loved as our customers. Here's some fun ways to incorporate the bakery cafe into your week of love - ways for each of the five Love Languages. (We have several ideas for you whether you're looking to show your partner, friend, or even yourself some extra love!)

For those of you who love acts of service, when you come in to get a latte for yourself, ask your friend for their order and bring it to them as a surprise. If you're spending some time by yourself, treat yourself to a drink you've never tried before - we recommend our new seasonal drink The Lover. Even simple acts of service like holding the door for the person behind you will spread the love this week.

If words are more your love language, perhaps you can write a note for someone you care about. It can be long and heartfelt or short and silly - maybe try using some of the puns we occasionally incorporate into some of our to go orders - "you bake me crazy" "I like you a latte" or "Are you Tucker&Co granola because I wanna go on an adventure with you!"

Quality time is an important love language, and Tucker&Co is the perfect location for your next homework date with a friend, first date with a new love interest, or family brunch date. Reach out to someone this week and schedule a time to hang out and catch up with someone you love. Try disconnecting from your phones and keep them off for the duration of your coffee date. After you finish your drink and meal, take a walk outside to get some fresh air and enjoy post-coffee-shop quality time.

If you are looking for a little gift to show your loved one that you are thinking of them - look no further! Our bakery café has tons of goodies including but not limited to candles, soap, tote bags, sweatshirts, stickers, and of course all our grocery items. You can even give the gift of Tucker&Co in the form of a gift card so your loved one can come and enjoy delicious and nutritious food for themselves!

While an equally important love language, physical touch proves a bit more difficult to express within the context of the café. It does warm our hearts, however, when we see people greet their coffee date with a hug upon arrival or right before heading their separate ways. If hugs aren't your thing, maybe you can just playfully swat your friends hand when they go to pay for your coffee date if it was actually your turn to pay.

xoxo,
Tucker&Co
